Effective Study Skills
Years 9-12
Students learn to differentiate between high-yield and low-yield study strategies and effectively implement retrieval practice and spaced practice in a range of contexts.
Principles of Learning Success
Years 9-12
Students are introduced to the science of learning, including the simple model of memory and three evidence-based strategies to support effective learning.
Strategic Exam Preparation
VCE Students
Students learn a framework to effectively monitor their exam preparation. They also learn advanced retrieval practice tools and exam strategies to approach VCE exams.
Managing Cognitive Load
Years 10-12
Grounded in cognitive load theory, students learn practical strategies to improve content understanding, tackle complex content and support long-term retention of learning.
