Students focus on learning every day, yet few students are explicitly taught how to learn. This incursion unpacks the science behind learning and equips students with practical strategies to approach independent learning with confidence.

This workshop is based on peer-reviewed learning science research. It draws upon the simple model of memory, working memory, cognitive load theory and Paivio’s research on dual coding.
